If I run out of credit can I still receive calls?

Yes, you do not require credit on your phone in order to receive incoming calls. However after the Call Credit Validity period (which is 186 days from the call credit activation) you must add at least minimum credit before the expiration of the Additional Period which is 186 days from the expiration of the Call Credit Validity Period. Refer to the Prepaid Service Description in the Standard Form of Agreement for more information.

What happens if I only use iSIM for incoming calls?
A
Once your iSIM call credits have all been used within the call credit validity period of 186 days from purchase, your number remains active for incoming calls for 186 days. If you wish to continue to use your iSIM for longer than this period for incoming calls you will need to recharge.

iSIM offers 39 cents a minute call rates with no flagfall costs on National Calls. Other services are charged at 15 cents for SMS (up to 160 characters), 60 cents weekdays and 30 cents weekends for MMS and free voicemail deposits.

Are there any fees associated with iSIM?

Currently the only fees associated with the iSIM product are mobile number change fees and SIM Card Replacement fees. However for up to date details of any additional fees associated with the iSIM product, please refer to the Prepaid Service Description in the Standard Form of Agreement .

Can I carry over my current mobile number from another network?
A
Mobile number portability (MNP) means you can switch from your exiting Service Provider to iSIM and keep your existing number. You may have contractual obligations and costs relating to an existing mobile phone service that will have to be settled by you with your current service provider. The existence of contractual obligations with your current provider will not restrict or prevent the port from occurring.

How do I port my number to iSIM

When you Sign up and then Activate your iSIM service, you simply nominate the number that you want to port and it will be transferred to your iSIM SIM normally within 3 hours during the telecommunications industry standard porting hours of operation as outlined on the iSIM website.

Can I port from post paid?

If you have a mobile number with another service provider then when you Sign up and Activate your service with iSIM you simply nominate that you want to bring your existing mobile number to iSIM. You should not disconnect your existing number in order to bring it to iSIM.

How will I know when to recharge my account?

To make life easier, when there is $2 balance on your account, you will be notified via SMS. If your Service is in use when your balance falls below $2 you will be notified by SMS once you have finished your call. If the credits are exhausted during the course of this call, the call will automatically cut out without further warning. When you receive the SMS you can use one of the convenient recharge methods. However we also recommend that you monitor your balance and recharge regularly to ensure you always have enough credit in your iSIM account. You can check your balance via the iSIM web site and by calling 1300 364 711. The simplest way to manage your iSIM account is to set up a recharge schedule. You can set up a schedule so that on a certain date every month an amount specified by you will be automatically recharged to your iSIM account subject to the recharge limits of the service. You also have the option to set up a recharge schedule on your iSIM service so that when your account reaches a certain balance as specified by you, your iSIM account will be automatically recharged with an amount as specified by you subject to the recharge limits of the service. Log into My Account and click on the Recharge Tab.

You don’t have to permanently register your credit card with us on the iSIM web site as you can recharge on an adhoc basis by visiting the iSIM web site and clicking on the Recharge tab to recharge using your credit card. However, if you want to recharge conveniently then we recommend that you register your credit card with iSIM so that you can recharge conveniently by calling 1300 364 711.
